Numerical analysis of graphene oxide modified glass fiber/epoxy resin composites

چکیده

Abstract Graphene is extensively used as a functional material due to its superb heat transfer and electrical conductivity properties. In this paper, sample graphene oxide /glass fiber/epoxy resin composites were prepared by ultrasonic decentralization. The stress distribution of the graphene-doped fiber-reinforced matrix simulated mathematical modelling. reliability numerical model illustrated comparing measured temperature field oxide/glass composite samples with simulation results. It also shown that particles can facilitate epoxy in expands significantly more than fibers, so compressive on fibers at interface strengthens bond between fibers. Still, thermal cause glass fiber ends detach from affect life.

Toughened and machinable glass matrix composites reinforced with graphene and graphene-oxide nano platelets

The processing conditions for preparing well dispersed silica-graphene nanoplatelets and silica-graphene oxide nanoplatelets (GONP) composites were optimized using powder and colloidal processing routes. Fully dense silica-GONP composites with up to 2.5 vol% loading were consolidated using spark plasma sintering. The GONP aligned perpendicularly to the applied pressure during sintering. The fra...

Porosity of resin cements and resin-modified glass-ionomers.

PURPOSE To quantify the internal free surface in various resin cements and glass-ionomer-based materials. MATERIALS AND METHODS Materials tested were Nexus fluid (NXF) and viscous (NXV), Vitremer (VTM), Fuji II LC (FII), Vitremer Luting Cement (VLC), Dyract (DYR) and Compoglass (COM). Samples (n=5) were made of each material between two microscopic glass slides under same weight. With a trans...

Physical properties of resin-modified glass-ionomers.

The physical properties and shear bond strength of two resin-modified glass-ionomers: RMGIs (FJL and VT) and as a control, a conventional glass-ionomer: CGI (FJ), were evaluated. Ninety percent of the setting shrinkage under dry conditions and nominal hygroscopic expansion in water during 360 h occurred within the first 24 h. The nominal hygroscopic expansion of CGI was 0.38% while the RMGIs de...

Microleakage Evaluation of Class II Composite Resin Restorations with Different Thicknesses of Resin-Modified Glass Ionomer

Background and Aim: One of the weaknesses of Class II composite resin restorations is gingival microleakage which contributes to postoperative sensitivity and secondary caries. The aim was to evaluate the microleakage in Class II composite resin restorations with different thicknesses of resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGI). Materials and Methods: In this in-vitro study, standardized Class II s...
